Celebrity Hair Tips for Men
By: Terry Parker

There are a whole host of professional hair care products available today. To achieve healthy, vibrant, cutting edge styles, salon stylists are thoroughly trained in the latest techniques, and know how to use all of these products.

So it is time for a change, and you would like to have hair like your favorite celeb, but you are not sure which one. Before you settle for another boring hairdo, take a look at these male celebrity hairstyle ideas.

Two popular looks right now with young African American celebs are the 360 and tight braids. The 360, a look which is achieved by the use of special pomades and doom rags, is a series of ridges and textures in the hair that come together to form a 360 in the back. This is Nellys signature style. Braids, especially tight, close to the scalp braids are also in right now and many rap musicians, like Xzibit have been seen wearing them. Both of these looks are very complex and require a lot of maintenance, so you should consider having them professionally done.

These are the mens hairstyles that can be worn by anyone, and usually require little maintenance. George Clooneys signature Caesar cut is a short, above the ears style with a slight, defined bang, and many other male celebrities have also been seen with it. The very classic, if generic sounding professional hair style is worn just above the ears, with slightly longer sides long enough to tuck behind the ears and usually, no bang. Hugh Lauries current cut is a good example of this.

If you are a 90s music fan, you probably remember Adam Duritz, the front man for the band Counting Crows, and his unique, dreadlocked style. Dreadlocks take more maintenance than just about any hairstyle, and can be seen as controversial, because of their association with the Rastafarian movement.

If you have the confidence, however, and the time, you can pull this look off provided that you have the right hair type. Other unique male celebrity looks include Ozzie Osbornes take on the classic pageboy hair style. The pageboy is typically worn at bout chin length, with a longish, face contouring bang, but Ozzie has modified his growing it to shoulder length, and turning the ends slightly under.

Whatever hair style you choose, your hair care stylist can help you make sure that it looks polished, by recommending the professional quality hair care and finishing products that are right for you. With so many hairstyles to choose from, there is just no reason to settle for another basic do, ever again.
